The Centrum voor Shin-Boeddhisme (Jikoji Temple) is honored to announce and host the 13th European Shin Conference in the beautiful city of Antwerp - Belgium on 24-27 August 2004.
The topic of the 2004 Conference will be:
Nembutsu:
Overcoming Secularism and Fundamentalism
Since 1986 this conference has been a biennial 4-day event combining both the "European Block Conference of the International Association of Shin Buddhist Studies (I.A.S.B.S.)"; and the "Conference of European Shinshu Communities".
The 10th European Block Conference of the International Association for Shin Buddhist Studies will take place from 24-25 August 2004; directly followed by the 13th Conference of European Shinshu Communities on 26-27 August 2004. Participants are of course encouraged to attend both conferences.
